Jeffrey S. Gross, Esq. has been recognized as an Expert Network Distinguished Professional.
Jeffrey S. Gross is a distinguished attorney based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The leader of his own law firm and recognized Super Lawyer, Gross has developed a reputation as one of the top Workers’ Compensation lawyers in the United States over the course of his twenty-five year career.
As he tells it, Gross was inspired by his grandfather to pursue a career in workers’ compensation law.
My grandfather was an assembly line worker for forty years at a bread baking company. He worked from midnight to 8:00 a.m. and had a really tough life. He always emphasized the advocacy of the worker and helping out the ‘little guy’. So I took it upon myself to help injured workers by becoming a lawyer.
Since graduating from the Dickinson School of Law, Gross has looked to his grandfather’s experience and empathy as a touchstone to guide his career. He steadfastly believes each worker is entitled to all the possible benefits available under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act and brings his considerable experience to bear on each case.
Along with his team of dedicated attorneys, Gross has cultivated a practice that focuses exclusively on workers' compensation litigation, including subrogation matters, full and partial disability claims, lump sum settlements, occupational diseases and workplace fatalities.
Gross has a long record of success aggressively pursuing the best interests of his clients, which has gained him esteemed recognition from his many professional affiliations, as well as from several prestigious attorney rating agencies. The current Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section, he has been listed as in the top 100 lawyers in his region by both Philadelphia Super Lawyers and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
As a leader in his field, Gross pays close attention to prevailing trends in workers’ compensation law. He notes:
I have been paying a lot of attention to trends in United States, and Pennsylvania in particular, with regards to attitudes towards workers versus corporations and large companies. <<can you elaborate on this?>>
After a quarter century dedicated to defending the rights of workers, Gross shows no signs of slowing down. In the coming years he hopes to continue growing his practice while offering the best available representation to the workers of Pennsylvania.
